When

 

According to Acts 22:16 the time to be baptized is now.  Baptism is for the purpose of salvation and the remission of our sins.  Why would anyone want to delay?  Acts 8:26-40 refers to Phillips explaining the scriptures to the eunuch.  As soon as the eunuch understood he wanted to be baptized immediately.

 

So, how do you know when you are ready?  You don’t have to know a lot to be baptized.  Just understanding that Jesus is the son of God.  According to Acts 2:38 Peter baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and the people continued to study and follow the apostles teachings.

 

As long as you’re old enough to realize that you have sinned and you need forgiveness then you are old enough to be baptized.  So don’t delay because it could be too late.  We haven’t been promised tomorrow.  Nobody knows when Jesus is coming back.  Mark 13:32.  So be prepared.
