Why

 

Why should I become a Christian?  Mark 16:16 says he that beliveth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.  I have decided to become a Christian because it is the only way that I can be saved.  I have also decided that I don’t want to be the one who is condemned to hell.  I imagine it will be much more pleasurable to be in heaven.  It’s impossible to imagine how great heaven will be.  Matthew 13:49 says so shall it be in the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the righteous, Matthew 13:50 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.  I can tell you that hell sounds like a horrible place.  The point I’m trying to make is if you want to be saved from hell and go to a much more desired place, heaven than you have to obey the gospel and become a Christian.  This is the reason why you must become a Christian.  Don’t wait, we don’t know when the Lord is coming back so do it now and don’t pay the consequences.  If you need more help, go to your local Church of Christ and ask if you could speak to a minister or elder, I’m sure that they would be willing to assist you and help you obtain the ultimate goal.
